Times Are Tough Thursday Link Party #1 - It's time to get started!

It is time to get started. This is a very unique link party for Etsy sellers and handcrafters who sell their items on their blogs. It will be open to entries until Sunday, midnight, eastern time.

Please Read The Rules And Instructions Before You Enter. This Party Is A Little Different.

Really Easy Rules and Instructions

****You Must Join As A Follower If You Are Not One Already****
1.) This party is specifically for items that crafters are selling. If your item is not for sale, it will be deleted. Any type of craft or handmade item that you make yourself and are selling is generally welcome. The more the merrier.

2.) Link your item directly to the same item in your store, not to the store itself. Once people get to your store to view the item they will be able to browse your store if they want to.

3.) In the item description area, please input a short description and the price of your item. I am allowing 50 characters of space for you to do this, so please feel free to take advantage of it. The description and price will show up under your thumbnail picture.

4.) You can enter up to 3 of your items into this party. Post your best 3.

5.) One more thing.....I know that some of you will have a hard time linking back to the party from your Etsy store. That's fine. I understand. But please do whatever else you can to promote the party. Send out a few emails. Let your group friends know. Grab a button. Write a feature about the party. Whatever you want. Just remember that the success of the party depends largely on how many participants we have. So, I would love it if you would all help promote it.

Here is a button you can grab if decide you want to link back and promote the party that way.....

Instructions for the actual entering of your item.....
Pretty easy.

1.) Click on the little blue button below my signature at the end of this post that says "add your link".

2. Copy and paste the url of the item you want to bring to the party.

3. "Name" This is not for your name. This is where you enter a short desorption of your item and the price. Limit is 50 characters.

4. Your email address. It will not be shown to the public. It is just part of the entry process.

5. Then hit "next step" and pick out the picture of your item that you want to use as your thumbnail.

That's it!

Please feel free to post comments about the party. We would all be especially interested if your item on the party sells for you. Gotta love a good success story.

Good Luck!

Your site was retweeted by pink glass palace. What a great blog. Lets see, I was part of 9 families that build their own townhouses, my lastest power tool project was my sewing table and shelves, nothing fancy but totally practical, I love seeing all the creative work being done. Thanks for sharing everyone!
